FRIDAY 26 JUNE
Arrive London (England)
Arrive in London this afternoon and transfer direct to the luxurious Marriott Grosvenor Square.
This evening we come together for a special welcome dinner – a great opportunity to meet your Constellation Journeys’ team and fellow travellers.
SATURDAY 27 JUNE
London
This morning we take a tour of the city including the resplendent St Pauls Cathedral – it’s been almost 45 years since the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana but stepping inside the cathedral immediately evokes images of the momentous event.
It’s hardly a trip to England without a traditional pub lunch, after which we continue our exploration of the city including taking a twirl on the London Eye.
This evening you are treated to dinner followed by tickets to one of the hottest West End shows.
SUNDAY 28 JUNE
Southampton
We leave London for Southampton and the Seven Seas Grandeur.
Enroute we visit mystifying Stonehenge and the captivating cathedral city of Salisbury.
This afternoon step aboard our luxurious ship and into your suite.
This evening you may wish to join the Constellation team for a pre-dinner drink in the bar before making your way to dinner. With seven restaurants to choose from – all of them included – it can be hard to make a choice, so if you prefer to leave the dining decisions to someone else, or if you’d like company for dinner, there will always be table reserved for Constellation Journeys’ guests.
MONDAY 29 JUNE
Falmouth
As avid travellers and life long seekers of new experiences, we know that your ideal day might look a lot different to that of your next door neighbour. Today, as for all days aboard Sevens Seas Grandeur, you can choose to join the Constellation team, or forge your own path on one of the other options offered by Regent.
Cornwall is at the rugged southwestern tip of England, think wild moors and deserted sandy beaches. It’s also the home of St Michael’s Mount, a tidal island featuring a tiny historic village, topped by a magnificent castle – formerly a monastery it’s now a private residence.
TUESDAY 30 JUNE
Cork (Ireland)
Today’s hosted excursion takes you to Blarney Castle and Cork City.
If you’re feeling game, join the line and kiss the famous stone at the 600 year old Blarney Castle, home to stunning grounds and manicured gardens while nearby Blarney Woolen Mill treats you to an Irish whisky and the opportunity to shop for fine crystal and handicrafts. Our coach tour continues into Cork City, passing the city’s landmarks and crisscrossing the famous river bridges.
Where will you dine this evening? Perhaps a New York strip steak at Prime 7 or Asian fusion cuisine at Pacific Rim?
WEDNESDAY 1 JULY
Waterford
Today the Constellation team take you inside Kilkenny Castle. The 800 year old castle with its lavish interiors is situated within 50 acres of alluring parks and gardens. In nearby Kilkenny you’ll find time to stroll the medieval streets, filled with 12th century wonders and a fabulous array of galleries.
Enjoy lunch before driving to the House of Waterford Crystal, at the forefront of exquisite crystal since 1783. Return to the comfort of our ship in time to freshen up before another sumptuous dinner. This evening you may like to take in a show – whether it’s cabaret, theatre or dance you are in for a treat.
THURSDAY 2 JULY
Cruising the Irish Sea
A timely day at sea to unwind and enjoy everything our six-star ship has to offer. Head to the upper deck and breath the crisp summer air of the Irish Sea – you may even like to take a plunge in the pool.
Our Constellation team invites you, if desired, for a pre dinner drink and hosted dinner at one of the seven fabulous dining venues on board.
FRIDAY 3 JULY
Holyhead (Wales)
Today the Constellation team take a drive into Snowdonia (Eryri National Park). Towering peaks and breathtaking valleys are laid out in wild formations and there’s no shortage of opportunities to photograph the stunning landscapes. We also pass by Caernarfon Castle, built in the 13th century for the first Prince of Wales, and stop in picturesque Betws-y-Coed village to stretch our legs and to peruse the stone buildings and quaint shops.
SATURDAY 4 JULY
Liverpool (England)
Home to a formidable soccer team, the distinct Scouse dialect and birthplace of The Beatles, Liverpool has always been loud and proud – a hub of industry and culture. Step inside The Beatles Story museum – charting the story of the ‘Fab Four’ from childhood, world fame, break up and beyond. Your Beatles immersion continues with a pilgrimage to Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields, as well as The Cavern Club – where it all began.
After a trip down memory lane today, you might want to hit the dancefloor aboard our ship after dinner? The lights go down and the volume goes up, a great way to round out a musical day.
SUNDAY 5 JULY
Belfast (Northern Ireland)
Immerse yourself in the legacy of the RMS Titanic in Belfast today. Explore the Titanic Quarter, with massive cranes, drafting rooms and pumps – you can even walk the slipway that once held the enormous ship. We’ll also take a deep dive into the history through interactive exhibits at Titanic Belfast.
If you haven’t dined at Chartreuse, tonight might be the time to savour the Parisian flavours of this unmissable restaurant aboard Seven Seas Grandeur.
MONDAY 6 JULY
Cruising the Atlantic Ocean
Opportune timing for another day at sea. Savour the time to reflect on your journey so far or partake in an enrichment program to learn more about the extraordinary wilderness you are soon to encounter.
After a relaxing day you might feel like a festive night and the opportunity to take in some evening entertainment.
TUESDAY 7 JULY
Torshavn, Faroe Islands (Denmark)
The Faroe Islands are a self-governing archipelago of 18 volcanic islands between Scotland and Iceland. Steep coastal cliffs topped by green pastures and deep valleys adorned by narrow fjords are home to a prolific array of birdlife.
Follow in the footsteps of the Vikings and explore the capital of the Faroe Islands, Torshavn. Visit the ancient quarter with its turf-roofed houses and contemporary Torshavn with its modern architecture and thriving arts scene.
WEDNESDAY 8 JULY
Heimaey (Iceland)
With unrivalled space, unparalleled service and exceptional cuisine it’s sometimes hard to motivate oneself to disembark, fortunately the natural beauty of this extremely remote location provides all the incentive you need.
Extraordinary panoramas fill your window as we drive around the island. We also visit neighbouring Surtsey, a location so pristine that the whole island is a World Heritage Site.
Back aboard our luxurious home away from home we continue further north, towards the tip of Iceland.
THURSDAY 9 JULY
Isafjordur
Isafjordur is the largest settlement in the Westfjords region and still, less than 10,000 people call the city home. Breathtaking scenery and a rich cultural heritage make your time here an immensely rewarding experience.
Today we explore the region by coach, with plenty of pauses to absorb the local colour and beauty in all its forms. Sip on clear mountain water and step inside a century old fisherman’s hut – this is life unlike anything you’ve known.
Invigorated by a day of remote sightseeing and pure air, there will be plenty of stories to share over a drink or two this evening.
FRIDAY 10 JULY
Grundarfjordur
Locked between the mountain and the sea, Grundarfjordur is a small Icelandic town on the Snæfellsnes peninsula. What it lacks in size Grundarfjordur makes up for in beauty. Dramatic slopes, ice capped mountains, sparkling fjords and frozen lava flows combine to create a very special kind of magic. We take time to explore the incredible landscapes by coach today.
SATURDAY 11 JULY
Reykjavik, Iceland
Today we explore three natural wonders in Iceland’s Golden Circle, partly aboard an 8-wheeled monster truck named Sleipnir, built to traverse icy terrain. Ride across Langjökull Glacier, unreachable by most vehicles, for a thrilling glacial adventure. Visit Gullfoss waterfall, then continue by motor coach to the steaming geothermal area of Geysir. After lunch, enjoy a scenic drive to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the historic location of the world’s first parliament, established in 930 AD.
This evening is our last aboard the Seven Seas Grandeur. Come together with fellow travellers and your Constellation team for a final dinner aboard the ship – the cruise has been a journey to remember.
SUNDAY 12 JULY
Reykjavik (disembark)
With so much to explore we disembark and make our way straight to one of Iceland’s real bucket list experiences – the Blue Lagoon.
Soothe your body in the healing volcanic waters of this geothermal natural spa. We return to the city and take a walk through this design-forward Northern capital, known for its colourful buildings and quirky, creative population.
Later we check in to the Reykjavik Edition, combining Nordic charm with the sophisticated facilities you’d expect from a five star hotel.
This evening we step into the chic city nightlife for dinner at a local restaurant.
MONDAY 13 JULY
Reykjavik
It’s been an epic adventure, you’ve encountered lands and cultures that many other travellers overlook – it may take a while to return to “real life”.
