FRIDAY 13 NOVEMBER
Arrive Madrid (Spain)
The elegant Spanish capital awaits your arrival and there’s no better address in Madrid than the iconic Four Seasons. Perfectly located in the heart of the city you’ll have the opportunity to step outside and join a short walking tour including Plaza Mayor and San Miguel Market this afternoon.
This evening we come together for a casual dinner at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant.
SATURDAY 14 NOVEMBER
Toledo
We drive from the city today and step back in time at Toledo. Wander the ancient streets where Christian, Jewish, and Muslim cultures once thrived together. Take in the soaring ceilings of Toledo Cathedral, a gothic masterpiece, and witness El Greco’s painting, claimed to be the greatest of the Spanish Renaissance period. Visit the nearby serene Synagogue of Santa Maria la Blana before lunch.
This evening is our special welcome dinner – get to know your fellow travellers and Constellation Journeys team over a drink and some wonderful food.
SUNDAY 15 NOVEMBER
Madrid
This morning we get to know the city more intimately including the famous Las Ventas bullring and idyllic Retiro Madrid Park. Drive past the home of football at Real Madrid Stadium enroute to the Prado Museum. Lunch is served before a stroll to explore the nearby Royal Palace.
MONDAY 16 NOVEMBER
Barcelona
A leisurely morning before transferring to the station for our high-speed train trip to Barcelona. Enjoy lunch aboard as the diverse countryside and landscapes of Spain flit past your window.
We take a panoramic tour of the city before arriving at the elegant, old world El Palace Hotel – an enchanting and luxurious hotel filled with history, and close to the action.
Dinner at our hotel this evening.
TUESDAY 17 NOVEMBER
Barcelona
Today the choice is yours.
Join a guided walking food tour, tasting local specialties while visiting architectural icons including the awe-inspiring Sagrada Familia and the whimsical Casa Batlló.
Alternatively, escape the city for a full-day excursion to Montserrat, home to the dramatic mountain monastery, where you’ll admire sweeping views before continuing to a nearby winery. Here, enjoy a leisurely lunch paired with regional wines.
Dinner this evening will be served at a local restaurant for a taste of the real Barcelona.
WEDNESDAY 18 NOVEMBER
Join Silver Ray
Depart 7pm
We bid farewell to Barcelona today and embark on the ultra luxurious Silver Ray. Welcomed aboard with a glass of French Champagne your luggage is whisked to your suite, where your personal butler is available to unpack… should you wish. As with any meal aboard Silver Ray the choice is yours as to which restaurant you choose this evening.
Of course if you prefer to dine with fellow travellers, your Constellation Journeys leader will always nominate a time and place before dinner.
THURSDAY 19 NOVEMBER
Valencia
Arrive 8am Depart 6pm
Spain’s third-largest city blends centuries of history with bold modern design. A panoramic drive introduces landmarks including the grand Central Market and Art Nouveau railway station before a walking tour of La Lonja, the Gothic Silk Exchange and UNESCO treasure.
Valencia’s forward-looking spirit shines at the City of Arts & Sciences, where we step inside the striking Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía. With its soaring architecture and cultural prestige, it’s a fitting finale to our exploration.
FRIDAY 20 NOVEMBER
Cartagena
Arrive 8am Depart 6pm
Step into history in Cartagena, a compact coastal city once pivotal to the Roman Empire. Ride a panoramic lift for views across the harbour before exploring the Civil War Shelter Museum, where stories and images reveal the city’s more recent struggles.
A stroll through the Old Quarter reveals elegant Modernist architecture, with time to wander along lively Calle Mayor.
Join the Constellation Journeys team in the Panorama Lounge before another fine dinner aboard.
SATURDAY 21 NOVEMBER
Malaga
Arrive 9am
Journey inland through the scenic Serranía Mountains to Ronda, dramatically perched above the 90-metre-deep El Tajo Gorge. Explore winding streets lined with Moorish and Spanish heritage, pausing at the oldest bullring in Spain and the elegant Bosco House with its gardens and sweeping views.
Cross the iconic New Bridge, admire palaces and Arab baths, and step inside the church of Santa María La Mayor.
SUNDAY 22 NOVEMBER
Malaga
Depart 6pm
Travel through the foothills of the Sierra Nevada to Granada, home to Spain’s most iconic Moorish monument.
With expert guides, wander the Alhambra’s palaces and gardens – an extraordinary display of ornate arches, tiled courtyards and tranquil fountains. Admire the celebrated Patio of the Lions before continuing to the lush summer retreat of the Generalife, with its terraced flowerbeds and sweeping views.

Casablanca (Morocco)

Discover Casablanca’s rich heritage on a half-day tour of Morocco’s most cosmopolitan city.
Visit the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque, its soaring ceilings and intricate detail rising partly over the Atlantic. Pause for refreshments at a seaside café on the Corniche, then drive through the elegant Anfa district, once the city’s original site. Conclude with a stroll through the New Medina, where traditional souks and winding alleyways reveal a more historic side of this vibrant port.
WEDNESDAY 25 NOVEMBER
Tangier

Step into Tangier’s storied past on a guided walk from the Kasbah to the bustling Medina. Visit the American Legation Museum – showcasing Morocco’s early ties with the young American nation. Disembark in Lisbon and set out for the enchanting town of Sintra, famed for its fairytale palaces and winding lanes. After exploring its charming streets, journey through the picturesque Portuguese countryside to the coast, where a leisurely seaside lunch awaits.
Continue along the shoreline to elegant Cascais, once a fishing village turned stylish resort, and enjoy time to stroll its waterfront promenade. Returning to Lisbon, check into the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel, your base for the next chapter of discovery.

Lisbon
Discover Portugal’s captivating capital, beginning in Belém with visits to the riverside Tower and striking Monument of the Discoveries. Pause to sample Lisbon’s most famous Portuguese Custard Tart before boarding a privately chartered tram for a memorable ride through the narrow lanes and colourful facades of the Old Town.
