Coral Discoverer is a purpose built expedition ship operated by Australian owned Coral Expeditions.
Following a complete refurbishment in 2016, Coral Discoverer provides an intimate, yacht-like cruising experience.

With a maximum of 72 passengers, her shallow draught and manoeuvrability allows her to reach some of Australia’s most remote and rarely visited coastlines and islands.

BUSINESS EXPERIENCE

BRIDGE DECK BALCONY STATEROOM A01 - A06

Located on the exclusive Bridge Deck close to the Lounge and Bridge, our six spacious Bridge Deck staterooms are 20sqm (215 square feet) in size and open out onto private balconies for expansive ocean views, along with a sofa, desk, telephone and your choice of Junior King or twin bedding.

PROMENADE DECK STATEROOM B03 - B21

Encircled by a full-ship promenade, these Promenade Deck staterooms are 18sqm (195 square feet) in size and feature picture windows for expansive ocean views, along with a sofa, desk, telephone and your choice of Junior King or twin bedding.

PROMENADE DECK STATEROOM B01 - B02

Located in the bow of the ship and encircled by a full-ship promenade, these two Promenade Deck staterooms are 15sqm (160 square feet) in size and feature picture windows for expansive ocean views, along with a desk, telephone and Junior King bedding.

DINING

Dining aboard the Coral Discoverer is as casual and friendly as it is delicious. Expert on board chefs use the finest locally sourced Tasmanian produce to create mouthwatering meals. Plentiful options are provided over breakfasts and lunches, while multi course table d’hote dinners are served to your table. You’ll enjoy
a generous selection of quality Australian wines, beers and soft drinks at lunch and dinner.

EXPEDITION TEAM

State of the art expedition vessels such as Zodiacs and tenders
afford you the privilege of accessing hard to reach areas in
comfort but it is the Expedition Team and regional experts who
bring Tasmania to life.

Travelling with us will be four Expedition Team members
and guest lecturers. Sharing their knowledge and personal
experience of this region during daily expeditions ashore
and lectures aboard will take your journey from great to
extraordinary.

Aboard the ship’s Zodiacs and tenders you’ll get up close to the
remarkable landscapes and wildlife of Tasmania. And one of the
great benefits of travelling on a small ship is the ability to make
impromptu stops when extraordinary opportunities present.
The ship’s Captain and Expedition Team make the most of
every opportunity.

The Coral Discoverer carries the trademark Xplorer tender, comfortably seating all guests and Zodiacs for more intrepid exploration.
