THE CONSTELLATION COLLECTION

When in Japan there is generally a choice of two types of
hotels – western style hotels or traditional Japanese hotels
known as ryokans.

Our experience with western travellers in Japan has taught
us that the familiarity and comfort of a western hotel
is preferred – but we also know some travellers seek to
experience something different. That is why we will be using
high quality western hotels in all but one location, where we
stay in a ryokan with your choice of western bedding or a
traditional Japanese futon. Your night in a ryokan may just
become a highlight of your trip!
