Named for the two oceans the train encounters on its journey, the Indian Pacific travels between Perth, Adelaide and Sydney on a spectacular 4,352km crossing.
The journey traverses mountain ranges, passes through arid deserts and explores Australia’s gold rush past and present. Tracking through rocky valleys and subtropical savannahs you’ll be mesmerised by the landscapes of our sunburned country.
It’s a carefree lifestyle on board, where you need not worry about the trivial details like which road to take, where the best place to dine is or even where the comfort stops are. It’s all within reach.
Meals are served in the welcoming dining car and a regionally inspired menu takes its cue from the diverse environments you travel through. Fine wines accompany lunch and dinner.

GOLD CLASS
The moment you step into your cabin, you'll be immersed into a world of romance that epitomises rail travel, Gold Service Twin and Single Cabins have everything you need to feel right at home for the amazing experience that lies ahead. There’s room to stretch out and relax on a day lounge. At night the lounge converts to single upper and lower sleeping berths. All-inclusive dining is provided in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant aboard. (Gold Twin offers a private ensuite, Gold Single is smaller and bathroom facilities are provided at the end of each carriage.)
PLATINUM CLASS
Platinum adds an enhanced level of space and sophistication to your journey. Stylishly appointed, spacious suites complemented by discreet, personalised service and world class food and wine make this a very special travel experience. Each suite offers a full size ensuite and expansive views from both sides of the train, as well as exclusive access to the Platinum Club carriage. By day your cabin is configured as a private lounge with deluxe seating, a table and two ottomans. At night the suite transforms into a comfortable bedroom, with either a double or twin beds. Food and wine is of the highest level – including Bollinger Champagne.
